Haung Yong Ping

"Theatre Of The World "

Haung Yong Pings work was displayed in museums around the world such as New York and China before not of the public who looked at these displays complained about them this is because it is against animal rights.  His artwork was big wooden boxes with small insects and reptiles in they lived in this small enclosure for a long period of time till the show got shut down. He locked these animals up so they had to fight for the survival of the fittest, he also wanted to see how the animals reacted to each other to see if they comforted each other in different ways. In an article, I found how the artist feels and his conception: "What the artist is asking us to consider is the globe itself—“The Theater of the World”—where we’re all different species vying for dominance and it’s a contest. But it’s also a symbiosis because we’re all on this planet together."   https://news.artnet.com/art-world/so-whats-really-going-on-with-that-disturbing-dog-video-at-the-guggenheim-1100417

"Dogs that can't touch"

This is another piece of work that had to get taken out of the museums this is because this one was also against animal rights. I think this is a really cruel show to be in mums the way they antagonise the animals as when I watched the video of the animals they were running on treadmills sweat pouring off them this means that they would be thirsty and the animals then were teased by staff and trainers to try and get the dogs to run faster and to bite each other.  this piece to be in a museum caused frantic people to cause a storm and to get the piece taken out the museum in 5 days prior putting it in the museum. I think this was way too long to of kept in the museum as the animals were getting tortured infant of a wide audience. These pieces of work then show how people react against animal cruelty and what China as a country sees animal rights.
