To gather more inspiration for my work I visited the Baltic museum this was to see more contemporary work that people in the modern society are wanting to view and to gather new ideas and more influences to my work.

A piece that I was most intrigued  in is the projection of trees. with a big compost of tree bark piled high in the corner of the room. When people walked past the projection it created a silhouette of that person. this was a participant piece of artwork. I feel as there is a deeper meaning behind this piece that we are the people who are destroying the planet by deforestation its all because of us.

In this museum it was more based around what the viewers would want to see now in this day and age, this is why I wanted to gather knowledge for myself to understand what to produce when it comes to art. when entering the gallery space you enter darkness with loud sounds of seagulls squeaking at you straight away and this is when you think about what the art work is actually about. There is many projections around the room and most of them of a large scale, this was of a black cat with green eyes. Straight away by entering you can tell what medium and materials the artists like to work with and what the of artist she is. The others were hallucinating colour spirals with added panthers and snails. her work creates a feeling of drug absorption and what the mind might see and feel if taking dosages of chemicals. it could also relate to someones imagination and what goes into the mind. Her work is based on videos and the making of modern art.
